Potassium diformate has the effects of antibacterial, sterilization and reducing harmful intestinal flora, and has a positive effect on preventing piglet diarrhea. Experiments have shown that adding potassium diformate to piglet diets can reduce the rate of diarrhea by 30%.


Some experiments showed that after adding 1.6% potassium diformate to the diet of weaning piglets, the daily gain and feed conversion rate increased by 15.7% and 3.8%, respectively. When 2.0% was added, the daily weight gain reached the maximum (589g), an increase of 22.9%. Add 2.4% to increase the feed conversion rate by 7.5%. Beijing Challenge Group cooperated with the Feed Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences to test the feeding effect of the products. The test results show that potassium diformate has a certain effect in reducing piglet diarrhea and mortality, and at the same time can improve piglet's daily gain and feed conversion rate.
