Therefore, the aqueous solution of calcium formate should be weakly alkaline, and industrial calcium formate can also be used in reinforced concrete to have the effect of early strength and initial setting.


4. Quick repair of cement concrete pavement and bridges. When repairing, it is necessary to narrow the traffic lanes, causing traffic jams, breaking off or forcing traffic to bypass other roads. Especially on expressways or other toll roads with good or better benefits, they can be opened to traffic 1 hour earlier, which brings considerable toll benefits.


Reference dosage of calcium formate: The dosage per ton of cement mortar and concrete is about 0.5-1.0%, and the maximum addition amount is 2.5% of the cement amount. The amount of calcium formate is gradually increased as the temperature drops. Even if the amount of 0.3 to 0.5% is applied in summer, it will have an obvious early-strength effect.
