Sodium tripolyphosphate is an inorganic phosphorus-containing polymer scale inhibitor. Adding a small amount of polyphosphate to water can destroy the normal growth of CaCO3 and other crystals, thereby preventing the formation of CaCO3 scale. The anti-scaling mechanism is mainly through partial functional groups in the molecule or electrostatic force adsorption on the active points on the crystal surface, so as to slow down the growth of the crystal, so as to keep the crystal in a microcrystalline state and increase its solubility. This anti-scaling mechanism makes the agent have a threshold effect.
